Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) Beacons are used on the memory storage unit of marine voyage data recorders to insure recovery of critical data should a ship or vessel sink. Recovery of the ships’ VDR memory storage unit is essential to determine the cause of an accident to save lives and property in the future. Rugged and reliable, Dukane VDR Beacons are built and certified to SAE AS8045 under IEC61996. RJE International supports the VDR Beacons with worldwide service and support.

All the VDR Beacons can be recovered underwater by using the PRS-275 and DPR-275
